Trip Itinerary

Panoramic Coach tour through central London
After the morning pick up we depart Victoria and drive through the very heart of central London past some of the key landmarks including Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament and The London Eye before driving along the Embankment with great views of The River Thames.

The Tower of London... private tour away from the crowds...(until 31 March 17)
Following our coach drive past Big Ben and Parliament Square we arrive at The Tower of London where we are met on the middle drawbridge by our very own Beefeater. Leading us into this world heritage site before it opens to the public our Beefeater will take us on our private guided tour explaining the history behind this fortress of imprisonment and torture. We are also the first group to see the Crown Jewels before enjoying some free time to explore on our own. Why not visit Traitors Gate, the armouries or the Bloody Tower? And keep an eye out for the famous ravens! Tradition has it that if the Ravens leave the tower the Monarch will fall!

St Paul's Cathedral (from 1st April 17)
The morning part of the tour begins with a visit to St Paul’s Cathedral where we enter as their doors open. We will explore the masterpiece designed by Wren in 1673 with a professional guide, taking time to listen to the 1695 organ that Mendelssohn once played and visit the tombs of Nelson and Wellington.

On Sundays when there is restricted viewing at the Cathedral there will be an opportunity to enter and enjoy one of the services.

Next a photo stop outside Westminster Abbey before we head to the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace.

Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace
Buckingham Palace is the official Royal residence of Her Majesty the Queen. Watch the world famous changing of the Guard ceremony as the Queen's soldiers, dressed in their fabulous tunics and busbies, march to military music.

*If the Changing of the Guard is not taking place you will still see Buckingham Palace.

Boat trip on the River Thames
Enjoy a private and exclusive river trip that passes Shakespeare’s Globe, Cleopatra’s Needle and London Bridge before we arrive at Millbank pier, re-join the bus and head back to Victoria.
